LDS Hymns: Simple and Multilingual Hymn App for iOS UsersLDS Hymns is a free educational and reference app available on the iPhone platform. It was the first app in the App Store to provide sheet music for Hymns to iOS users. Initially developed by Richard A Bloomfield Jr., the app has since been donated to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Despite the expectation that users would move on to other apps, LDS Hymns continues to be popular due to its simplicity.The app has recently been updated with new features while maintaining its user-friendly interface. It now offers support for 38 languages, making it accessible to a wider audience. Additionally, it includes the LDS Hymns and the Children's Songbook for supported languages. The app is compatible with both iPads and large-screen iPhones, providing a seamless experience across devices. Users can also benefit from the automatic synchronization of their favorite hymns between devices using iCloud. Furthermore, LDS Hymns takes advantage of the latest iOS features, such as Force Touch.It is important to note that due to copyright restrictions, the app no longer includes the music and/or lyrics for certain hymns.
