When Win10 updates to a new series it crashes the printer software for the printer. To get it reinstalled perform the following steps. I've spent many hours solving this issue over several upgrades before I finally documented and saved it. Here's the solution.Installing HP 4650 DriversWhen Windows10 updates and screws up the printer drivers for the HP 4650DN printer here’s the fix.Go to HP and download the 4650 software "upd-pcl6-x64-6.8.0.24296"Open the printers and devices window in control panel. Delete/uninstall the HP4650 printer. Unplug the USB plug for the printer from the back of the computer.Restart the computer so that it doesn’t find the printer.Go to Downloads folder and run the program upd-pcl6-x64-etc. When it runs have it install to USB plug and play and follow the instructions on the screen. The correct printer drivers will not install.Go to the printer properties and tell it to update the printer driver. When it gives you the option for the driver tell it to use the USB. It will then find the correct drivers and install them and the printer will work again.

Bob, I doublechecked and I have the same Adobe version 18.011.20040.In the Control Panel, Devices and printers, there are two references to the HP printer:1) Fax - HP OfficeJet 4650 series2) HPAE34ES (HP OfficeJet 4650 series) (copy 1)When I am in Adobe Acrobat and do a File Print, The preview window shows the HPAE34ES (HP Office Jet 4650 series) (copy 1) in the name for printer and the document shows up in the preview window The major difference now is that when I send the Adobe document to the printer, the Control Panel dialog box which shows up when I click see what's printing does NOT show the document in the queue. It is as if the document I sent to the printer vanished into the ether. This morning, the document would show up in the dialog box as being in the queue even though it does not print out.Do I need to uninstall the HP printer software and re-install again?Thank you.

The service is called HP Instant Ink, and to try it, I was sent the new HP OfficeJet 4650 MultiFunction Printer.HP has a whole new line of Instant Ink-enabled and Instant Ink-ready printers; this one retails for $99.99, and it is aimed at small business owners like myself.The OfficeJet 4650 measures approximately 7.5″ tall by 17.5″ wide by 14.5″ deep, and it weighs about 14.4 pounds. The exterior is composed of matte black plastic, and the design is one that will look nice on an office desk or side table.Included in the box are the OfficeJet 4650 All-in-One printer, an HP 63 black Instant Ink Ready Cartridge (which can print about ~190 pages), an HP 63 Tri-color Instant Ink Ready Cartridge (which can print ~165 pages); a software setup CD, a setup flyer; the power cord, a print guide, and a phone cord.The OfficeJet 4650 has an up to 100-sheet hopper on the bottom that serves as the only paper tray; if you switch from printing documents to photos, you’ll need to manually swap out the paper.
