Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. Is Mac OS X Lion 64-bit only? How can I get it to run in 32-bit mode? You will have to run your system in 32 bit mode, we currently do not support 10.7 (LION OSX) in 64 bit mode, which will cause Kontakt to crash. I am having trouble running apps on my mac from the previous version of Snow Leopard. Is Lion OSX 64 bit only? If not, How can I get it to run in 32 bit mode so I can run my applications that only run in 32 bit mode? Installing Sure Cuts A Lot or eCAL on Mountain Lion (OSX 10.8) This will show you how to install "Sure Cuts A Lot" or "eCAL" on a Mac if you get an error similar to the following. Starting with Mountain Lion (OSX 10.8), Apple uses a feature called GateKeeper which, by default, prevents applications that are not from the Mac App Store or from a verified source with Apple from being installed. There are a couple ways to install the application. The first is to right-click (control + click) on the file and choose Open.You will then see warning similar to one shown below. Click the Open button and you will be able to continue installing the software normally.The other way is to disable GateKeeper's option to prevent unidentified applications on your computer.Open the System Preferences from the Apple menu and choose the Security & Privacy option. Choose the Anywhere button You should now be able to install applications as you could before prior to OSX 10.8.

Work?! Apple-why would you make an upgrade that makes programs impossible to use?? Now, when I try to open it it says "You can't open the application Final Cut Express because PowerPC programs are no longer supported." UGHHHH I want my old system back!!!! Oct 11, 2012 8:50 PM in response to eviasking I am experiencing an interseting problem with Final Cut Express on OSX Lion. I teach in a Mac Lab at my school. Today I was trying to teach Chroma Keying- which I have been doing for years - but for some reason the color selector would just not key out anything. I tried it on four or five different machines, and it turns out that ONLY my machines that were running OSX Leopard would allow the Chroma Key to function. I have two machines running Lion and the Chroma Key would not work on EITHER of them. I followed the exact same steps, and all of the settings were identical. The hardware was also the exact same package from machine to machine. I feel like there must be an issue with OSX Lion that is breaking the Chroma Key filter. Can anyone help?
