Skyrim ENB Presets - Towns and Villages Enhanced - Real ENB

E.V.C. ENB. The concentration of efforts to create an ENB on one weather mod allowed to achieve incredible detail in development. Even the lighting in interiors depends on the weather outside.Great performanceSpoiler: ShowOptimized ENB settings, no need to use EVLaS or DVLSS, turned off game volumetric rays = excellent performance, more details below.Ensuring good performance was one of the main goals when creating the E.V.C. ENB. I have a heavily modified Skyrim, with FOV=90, with a lot of graphic mods, while the FPS is around 60 with 2560*1440 resolution. My PC: Ryzen 3800X, RX 6700 XT. This is achieved with the help of several factors: game volumetric rays are not used, ENB volumetric rays are used instead; careful adjustment of ENB parameters; there is no need to use DVLSS or EVLaS, which, with ENB, with game volumetric rays enabled and/or ultra shadows (iShadowMapResolution=4096) greatly reduce your FPS. E.V.C. ENB will allow you to save a lot of FPS, which will allow you to improve grass settings, install more performance-heavy trees and other mods.No need to use Dynamic Volumetric Lighting and Sun Shadows or Enhanced Volumetric Lighting and Shadows:In my ENBs, I always spend a lot of time adjusting the day-night, night-day transition to make the image more realistic. After sunset and before sunrise, direct sunlight in my ENBs is turned off because this reduces the immersion effect. DVLSS or EVLaS also turns off direct sunlight after sunset by default, but this effect is already implemented in my ENBs without DVLSS or EVLaS.DVLSS or EVLaS also change the angle of direct sunlight and game volumetric rays, bringing them closer to the real position of the sun in the sky. This is very good, but not quite :). First, with ENB enabled and the maximum settings of in-game shadows (iShadowMapResolution=4096) and/or maximum DVLSS or EVLaS settings, there is a serious loss of FPS, my 6700 XT (with a resolution of 2560 * 1440) cannot cope with sunsets and sunrises, the FPS drops significantly below 60. This is not the case with which I can put up. Secondly, Skyrim is a mountainous area, accordingly, in many locations, for example, in Riverwood, morning and evening will pass in full shade, which slightly reduces the spectacularity of the image.Interestingly, when the game volumetric rays are turned on, you will have to use DVLSS or EVLaS in order to synchronize the direction of the game volumetric. Um I'm not sure where prod80 is getting their information, but I can promise you CoT is highly incompatible with some ENBs! I know this from personal experience, I fought with getting an ENB to work with CoT for quite some time! CoT is not an ENB itself, but it changes the lighting and visual appearance of the game in a way that is unlike most mods, and sense pretty much all ENBs are made with the vanilla lighting scheme in mind, it can create real problems if combined with advanced ENBs, sense they will often over darken areas CoT darkens, and when the game tries to display these areas, the image will be so dark it inverts color, you'll get bright, almost metallic white areas in shadows, and especially when absorbing dragon souls or reading words of powers. That's just one issue, I also had moons shining like the sun, amongst a few other smaller glitches. It took me a while to find an ENB that works well with CoT that was visually noticeable enough to be worth the effort, I would suggest the one I use, but at the moment I'm using a highly modified combo of two ENBs.If an ENB doesn't work with it, trying using ENB Customizer to turn settings on and off until it does work. If you can't get it to work, just try another ENB. CoT is very sensitive to changes made to the sky, and global lighting, so that would probably be the best place to start tweaking. Also, I've had problems with color correction/adaption as well.My personal suggestion is use an ENB designed for CoT, I believe CoT actually has a list of compatible ENBs in the description! ^_^ Imaginator is also a great alternative to ENBs, if you just want brighter colors, or for things to have more 'pop', Dynavision adds in Depth of Field without the need for an ENB, if that's what you are after! And of coarse, making sure your load order is probably sorted with BOSS should be your first priority. ENBs do not have ESPs, so this doesn't matter as much, but it's possible the error you are having is coming from JUST CoT. It would really help if you were more specific about what the error is, and when exactly it started happening, in addition to what other mods you have installed...

And ENB version are the exact same except ENB version is using ENB DOF (Better than ReShade DOF) and Bloom effects in the Ultimate Presets. Plus as of 2.8.1 ENB version use day night interior shader to allow individual adjustments for brightness, contrast, saturation and tone mapping. As more updates come out for ENB I will be adding more to the ENB version. Night Eye Fix AdjustmentThe Nighteye Fix is designed and tuned for Vanilla Nighteye. However, depending on your mods you are using such as predator vision or better vampires the nighteye/vampire vision might not full trigger with ENB with the current default settings. You will have to tune this in yourself. See the video or screenshot I have posted below to see how to do it. (Link for Full Size Photo: NightEye Adjusting )Spoiler: Show This should set the new trigger point for your nighteye/predator/vampire vision. For those that like a walk through of Install for ENB. NAT version. Vivid Weather hasn't been updated in a very long time, so the previous version must be enough. ----------------------------------------------------------Installation instructions for updated Obsidian Weathers preset----------------------------------------------------------- General info ------------------------------------------------------------ For new ENB users - this preset (as many others) can't be installed using mod manager because the files aren't copied to the Skyrim Data folder. But you can find many managers specially designed for installing ENB or ReShade, here on Nexus.- If you are using "SSE Engine Fixes" and you have problems with too bright LOD in snow-covered areas, set "BSLightingShaderForceAlphaTest" to false in the EngineFixes.ini.- If you are using "SSE Display Tweaks" and you're stuck on the title screen, set "ForceVSync=false" and "EnableFPSLimit=false" in enblocal.ini.- "Known mods that can cause ENB issues" ------------------------------------------------------------ Preparations and requirements -----------------------------------------------------------//!\\Hard requirements //!\\"SSE Engine Fixes (skse64 plugin)". The newer version fixes a bug with loading saves (those from interiors), which has been in the game for 10 years!"Obsidian Weathers and Seasons".My "Rudy ENB Obsidian Weathers ADDONS and REQUiRED Files FOMOD". You will find it in the main files section on this page."Enhanced Volumetric Lighting and Shadows" (EVLaS)"Moons And Stars""Water for ENB""Embers XD""ENB HELPER SE" - Because this is a multi-weather preset and it has a separate ini for many of the game weathers.----------------------------------------------------------- ENB "DisableFakeLights" works again in 0.440 ENB version with the latest version of the game. So, you don't need to install "Old Skyrim SE Shader Bundle to fix SSS in ENB on SSE 1.5.80". Just make sure that DisableFakeLights=true in the "enblocal.ini" file.- You must install "Particle Patch for ENB". Many meshes from the game aren't prepared for ENB. Remember to deactivate or delete "Particle Patch for ENB SSE.esp" file (it's not necessary when you use "ENB Helper SE"), but keep the resources (meshes, textures) installed with this mod.- You must
